Crest 3-D Whitestrips from Influenster

I joined this great website, Influenster, where you can give your opinions on products you used and get invited to test products based on what you enjoy.  I was lucky enough to be selected to test out the new Crest 3-D whitestrips!

A full size box of Crest 3D whitestrips was sent to me (pictured) to be tested.  After I get through the entire box, I'll post my before and after pictures as well as giving my opinion on the strips.  I know they retail for $40 so I know I would be apprehensive about buying them without knowing if they really work!

They are supposed to whiten your teeth just as well as a professional whitening by the dentist.  In about 20 days I will let you know what I think!

Quick update and Bullfinch & Barbury

I got back from my vacation in Barcelona last week and since then I've had an art show and have just been trying to catch up on things at home.  I will post pictures as soon as I've transfered them from my camera.  I have a show this weekend in Louisville so an update on goals will be after I get back from it.

With show season coming to an end shortly, I wanted to do a quick post on jewelry other than my own - Bullfinch & Barbury!  This jewelry is absolutely gorgeous and am happy to say that I own and covet a few of these gorgeous creations!

Our garden is finally planted and our veggies are sprouting.  Some raccoons got into our carrots and a single tomato plant - any suggestions on how to keep them out and away?

(Our chickens ended up dust bathing in one of our garden boxes...we've put a fence around everything since then)

The school year is officially over and I get to work on some fun projects that I've been wanting to do all year but never had the time.  Pinterest surely hasn't helped with keeping those projects in check; in fact, 95% of what I want to do has come from pinterest.

Some of my (personal) crafting goals for the next week or two:

1. Hem/take in some clothing that have been sitting in my craft room for a year.  Literally, a year.
2. Make a tank dress like this or this or even this.
3. When I saw this ruffled duvet cover I instantly fell in love.  Definitely want to make it, though it will probably take all summer! 
4. Make little man shoes and tie for a friend's baby shower.
5.  Finish kitchen tea towels and post tutorial for them and dying fabric in an HE washer.
6. Move all bookmarks to pinterest for easier viewing 
7. Sand and spray down a vintage bowl flower I bought at a craft fair - pictures to come later

New blog design

I updated the blog with a new design... and I'm in love with it!  So fresh and fun!

Hopefully with the school year ending and this fun new blog design I'll be coming around and posting more often.  I have a couple tutorials that need to be posted as well as the SMS Giveaway Day (which will have both handmade and supply items!)
